You could setup two different profiles, one for each wireless router.
Configure your home wireless router with a different SSID and encryption setting to the office wireless router.
Then configure the wireless card in your laptop with two different profiles, one for the office wireless router and one for the home wireless router. When you want to use the home or the office wireless router, just call up the profile you require.

I'm not sure I'm getting the full picture here but your router should offer a wider range of IP addresses than you indicate. Go into your router set up. Type the routers IP address in the address bar of your browser (it should be 192.168.1.1). If you get a sign in box, I believe the default is "admin" "admin" for user name and password if you have not changed them. If not, check with dlink web site. Once into the menu, you should be able to change the address range of IP addresses for the routers DHCP server OR you can use static IP addresses.

How to watch IP Camera on internet by using DSL-2640T??

let me give you few suggestions and then you can take it from there.

firstly IP camera is just what its name says..it needs a fixed IP address it may be local as in your lan where it is working or a IP address from ISP.
Now when you connect it behind router... it is essentially a camera connected to LAN.
now the problem is DYNDNS.com will give access to your router since that is connected to dynamic IP addressing. However Ip camera is behind router and to access it you need to open proper protocol and port in router .consult your router manual for doing that.

with your current setup that is the only solution. however you can connect Ip camera directly to ISP line and then use dyndns as in case of router. though i dont know how feasible that will be for you.you have not mentioned IP camera model so cant help with specific details.

Ip address for router for xbox live setup

If you have a computer hooked up to router, go to command prompt (Start - Run - cmd, then press enter), and type in ipconfig. The router's IP address will be the Default gateway address.

If no computer handy, most default router IP addresses are one of the following:
192.168.1.1
192.168.2.1
192.168.1.254

Trying to connect two PC's to a Netgear FE108 switcher and a Thompson cable modem. Modem is connected to "Uplink" port on switcher. Normal/Uplink switch on switcher is set to "Uplink" Can connect one PC if...

Any network device, PC or otherwise, needs an IP address assigned. So, yes, both your PC's need an IP address.
Assuming your ISP lets you have multiple PC's(IP's) then you'll have to use the IP space provided by your ISP. The default gateway would also be provided by your ISP.

The way you SHOULD do this is to use a router, linksys for example. This way you can setup you private network(I.E. 192.168.10.10 for example). This will hide and protect YOUR private space from would be hackers. The router would use the REAL IP address on the outbound side to talk to the cable/DSL modem.

btw...you can use the ipconfig command at the command prompt(I.E. a DOS window) on your working machine to see the DHCP address and gateway that was assigned. Sound like your ISP only allows you one IP. The router solution above will fix that and let you connect as many as you want because the ISP will only see the one IP from the router.

Setting up NetGear WTG624v3

In order for your to access the router setup for this you need to check the IP address and default gateway of the computer that is wired to the router, the defaul gateway is the number that you need to type in to the address bar so you can reconfigure the router back, To check Ip and default gateway of your computer, Just click on the Windows logo and look for start search then after that type in CMD and hit enter then you will be on the command prompt there type in IPCONFIG hit enter and there look for IPV4 and look for the default gateway, the default gateway should start with a 192.168.x.x the default gateway is the number that you need to type to the address bar to be able to log in to the router.

Note if the IPV4 starts with a169.x.x.x you need to press and hold the reset button of the router for 15 seconds and check ip agaian if you already getting a 192.168.x.x...then continue accessing the router page...

Setting up a wireless router

first you have to check the ip address of the dsl modem you used and see to it that it is not the same ip address of the router to avoid conflict. the default ip address of dlink router is 192.168.0.1.if in case your dsl modem has the same ip address with the router, you have to change firs the ip address of the router before connecting the router to your dsl modem.
next you need to know your internet connection whether it is DYNAMIC or PPPOE, depending on how your internet provider configured your modem. for PPPOE connection, you have to know the USERNAME and PASSWORD that your provider provides you.
good luck.

Find the reset button on the rear panel of the wireless device and follow the factory reset instructions below: 1. Power Off the router. 2. The DSL/Cable Router's default IP Address is 192.168.254.254 To establish a connection from your PC to the DSL/Cable Router: 1. After installing the DSL/Cable Router in your LAN, start your PC. If your PC is already running, restart it. 2. Start your Web browser. 3. In the Address box, enter "HTTP://" and the IP Address of the DSL/Cable Router, as in this example, which uses the DSL/Cable Router's default IP Address: HTTP://192.168.254.254 The first time you connect to the DSL/Cable Router, the Setup Wizard will run automatically.
