I would be looking at drain pump for obstructions or pump may have failed

If I understand correctly, the washer made a sound in the spin cycle but didn't actually spin the clothes dry?
If so you may have something in the pump that is not allowing it to pump out. Disassemble the pump and make sure it is clear of any debris.

It is the door lock that may be broken, that's what happened with my maching last summer. The lock is made of plastic if you can imagine. So if you slam the door it can break. A washing machine gets wear and tear how can closing a door be owners fault?
This is a crappy machine in terms of maintenance, it is a maintenance nightmaire!!

Same thing happened to us. The problem is a clogged drain filter, and it is very easy to fix. It involves removing 3 screws, and about 1/2 hour to fix the problem. I've outlined the steps below. 
Reverse the steps to put everything back together, and you'll be back in business!
Hello Susana - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, there may be a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Otherwise since it is such a complex unit I would recommend contacting a professional to have either the pump or timer diagnose.
