Duravit 0910100005 Happy D Toilet Cistern - White Logo
Posted on Sep 26, 2010

I removed the lid from my Duravit cistern. I unscrewed the chrome button push device and now when I put the lid back on, the part with the button sits lower than the chrome rim. I am ignorant to plumbing terms but I am not exactly a dim wit so I can be talked through this. lol Thank you

Look at the flushing mechanism, you will probably see a blue lever, once moved that you should be able to move the top part of the mechanism up to be at a level close to the bottom of the cistern lid. Bring the lever back in place and close the lid, screw back the buttons, if you see they are still not level, go back to the lever and do your final adjustement

The botton should adjust up and down by tuning it left or right

How do I get to the Pozzi Ginori Cistern that has no no lid

Funny system. You usually have a large access panel of access from a tank room behind. Removal would be opposite of installation.

How do I replace a toilet seat on duravit happy D toilet

I think our toilet is a Duravit.
Close the seat and the lid then have a look at the back of the hinges. If you can see a small hole in the back of the hinge there will be a grub screw in the hole and you can undo it with an allen key (not sure what size - you'll have to try a couple)

Cant get the lid off a push button cistern

There are some dual flush cisterns where you have to depress one button to reveal a cavity in the second button. Put a screwdriver in that cavity to left out the second button, then release the first button and pry that out.

Underneath the buttons is a screw which must be unscrewed to release the cistern lid.

Not sure if this will apply to you... but if not, good luck anyway.

Replacement button needed

HI, Duravit spare parts can be a nightmare to find, and my best solution to you would be to unscrew the push button from the cistern lid. Take it along to your local plumbers merchant who will more than likely have a suitable non-genuine part that will work just as good.

When cistern fills with water it leaks into the bowl

Hi,

This is caused by the 'syphon' mechanism sticking, quite often nowadays the 'brilliant' plastic push button/ syphon combo sticks, and most toilets are fitted with an internal overflow, lift the lid on the cistern and check for anything causing an obstruction.

More often than not, it's a tiny bit of scale that causes such a headache, and the fact that nothing is made with any quality nowadays!

If you can't see what's wrong call a plumber, he/she will solve it.

I hope this helps

Maybe I'm an idiot but I don't know how to get the top off of my

The cistern lid is held down by the chrome assembly (which includes the two buttons that you press to make the toilet flush) sticking up in the middle of the lid. You need to unscrew that (anticlockwise) to be able to lift the lid off, to get to the inlet valve, etc.

If the water is running in very slowly, chances are high that the small screen filter under the inlet valve is partially blocked. Working inside the cistern, you need to unscrew the inlet valve assembly (noting the order in which the various parts come out!), then unscrew the cranked fitting just under that, to get the screen/filter.
