I have a Toshiba 50HX81

If you don't
have any repair experience my suggestions can only be useful to get a
repair estimate, or in order to get more familiar with these kind of
problems, impress your local repair person etc..

actually tat effect will be in some red color..(assuming tat its of red color)--ur case its blue i think.. this is a equivalent solution of red..

switch to test mode to check the red cross hair compared to the green or
blue - if it seems out of focus, open the set and mark the position of
the lenses. Then adjust it to tighten the line.

Find out why the Red has shifted(pin trouble). look for bad solder
joints on that board. Its also Possible that you have a failed
component.

Try re soldering the STK Output IC's very carefully.
In a worst case scenario , you may need to change the STK that controls the Red Convergence

Yank out the convergence board(the one that has several
controls) on it, then you will find a few controls that have RED PIN
(whatever). on them. Adjust them until you get it right

Step1
Unplug the TV from the power supply. Never
undertake any type of repairs on electric equipment without first
disconnecting from power. Take care in handling any electric parts, as
some may contain a residual charge that can shock you.




Step2
Remove screws from the back cover and connection area of the TV. Be
sure to put them in a safe place, or on a piece of paper with notations
for where each one fits in the television.




Step3
Gently remove the back cover. Locate the mirror and three projection
“guns,” as these are what you want to clean eventually.




Step4
Use a camera lens cleaning cloth (or other very soft and gentle cloth)
to clean the mirror and lens. Gently remove any other dust before
closing the TV.




Step5
Replace the back cover and screws. Plug back in the power supply.





Step6
Turn on the television. Check to see that everything works correctly and that your picture is now clearer.
