Ok this is a fuser error. you need to try a fuser reset. key in 1087 1087 then 163 start, press EXECUTE then start again. the machine will turn off and back on if this does not fix it you need to get a service person.

Fuser assembly must be examined before resetting the E000, E001, E003 and E007 codes. Enter the service mode this way: Press "Additional Function" key, Press "2" and "8" simultaneously, press "Additional Function" key again.

1, press "program", "interupt", "clear", "interupt".
2, enter 16 press start.
3, turn machine off and back on .
The error code deals with the scaner / mirrors or lamp. When you turn the copier "ON" will the scanning lamp turn on? If not your Lamp is blown or it could be the thermal fuse for the lamp, but it is most likely the lamp. It could also, mean that the Lens is not moving into home position.
