Forget the phone lock code

I forgotten the code for my N73 cell phone,when i switch on the phone,i have to enter the code to activate my phone,now i have forgotten the code and how do i unlock my phone? the handphone shop is asking for $70 to refresh the phone and unlock it and it takes 3days. is there any other way that i can get to unlock the phone? i forget my phone cellular lock number model nokia n73, and i want to ask how to open it.

You could try formatting it manually. Turn the n73 off. Then hold the following keys while it's turning back on: (* + 3 + green key). Don't let go till it asks about your location. IT will delete all settings and anything stored in the phone memory, resetting it to default.

buddy use the following software to know ur phone unlock code..
Download unrar and run LockCode.exe file.. all instructions will be there for u as well..

Forget the phone lock code
If you need the SIM Pin number to switch the phone on, then you have to enter any Pin number 4/5 times, then the phone will request a PUK number. This number was on the plastic card that your SIM card was attached to. If you don't have it, only your Network Service Provider can supply it to you.

If it's the Security code you need, to get into certain settings IE. erasing received calls, missed calls, timers etc... the Nokia default is 12345 if you didn't change it, but if you did change it and you've forgotten it, let me know, I'll tell you how to retrieve it.

default lock code for cell phones is the last 4 digits of your phone number....unless you changed it in which case you should follow these instructions:

Find Michael J. Fox
>tell him to get a souped up Delorean
>>tell him to go back in time to stop you from changing it.

If all else fails...take it to the shop and have them do it for you.
