Installer code I need how I reset the installer code , because I change the default password

If you want to reset your IP Camera to factory defaults, you can use the following 3 methods. After resetting the device you will lose all your settings except Client Settings.

Method 1:Hard reset/ By pressing the RESET button
Step 1- Keep the device powered on for at least 30 seconds to complete its normal startup.
Step 2- Find something like a pin to press the Reset button on the camera and hold it for 15 seconds to restore the settings to factory defaults.
Step 3- Afterwards release Reset button, and the camera will be restored to factory defaults after rebooting.
Note: Reboot process takes about 1 min, please be patient.

Method 2:By using Intelligent IP Installer
Step 1- Install the Intelligent IP Installer with the CD.
Step 2- Run the Intelligent IP Installer. Click Search to find your device.
Step 3- Select your Camera in UPnP device list, click Factory default on the right side.
Step 4- Type the username and password in the login page, the default username and password are both admin. Wait for the device to reboot.
If you changed the username and password before and forgot the username and password, you have to follow
Method 1, make a hard reset.
Note: Reboot process takes about 1 min, please be patient

Method 3:By using Web-based Utility (management page)
Step 1- Open the web browser and type the IP address of the IP Camera into the address bar, press Enter. If you have changed the default port number is 80, Then type the IP address of the camera: new port number into the address bar of web browser.
Step 2- Type the username and password in the login page, the default username and password are both admin. Then click OK to connect to the device.
Step 3- Click SETTING -> BASIC -> Initialize on the left side, and then click Factory default to reset this IP Camera to the factory default settings.
Step 4- Keep waiting until the progress bar shows completion.

If you had changed the default password that came with your system-

#1. Contact either the manufacturer, installer, or vendor from where you purchased your system from; they should be able to walk you through the steps of how to reset the password to its default.

And then from there, you can change it to the password you want to use.

If you never changed the default password, your user manual will have it for you...in the event you lost the user's / owner's manual, see #1.

Using the default password, "Passwords" is the fourth menu entry, and under that, "Programming passwords" is the fourth also. Under that there is "Installer", "Sys Admin", and "Basic" (depending on your KSU model and software version).

The key for the panel is supplied from the distributor and you need to be a certified installer to open an account and buy one, A good old big flat screw driver will open the pannel as well but the lock will be useless after that LOL! (you could screw the dore shut with #6 sheet metal screws after) than you can go on the Ademco's web site to serch for the default code of your alarm panel model but if the installer changed it than you have to reset the panel to factory default and re-program it... (unless the installer activated the installers lock up) than you need the code from the last installer that serviced the panel... if not than you need to send the board to Ademco to have it unlocked or change the board for a new one... (you will still have to re-program everything from scratch...

That's what security is all about!!! $$$$

THE BEST WOULD BE CONTACTING THE LAST INSTALLER FOR SERVICE...

You will need to call a nortel dealer and pay big bucks to reset it.

You need to reset the entire panel:

1. Open the panel cover
2. Uplug the transformer and disconnect the battery
3.Simultaneously press Cancel, Clock Set and Minutes buttons
4.reconnect transformer with button depressed.
5.Panel say"Hello System XX OK.

Panelis reset,installer code is 4321 master code is 1234

You can change the master code only if you have the installer code. If you don't have the installer code, the only way I know of to reset the master code is to reset it to factory defaults. This does mean that you will have to completely re-progam the system. I would document as much stuff as you can from the display before resetting it. I am sure you already guessed this but it appears someone has changed the default installer code. Using the default installer, dealer, or master codes defeat the purpose of a security system as most criminals know the default codes. The only way I know of to regain control of this panel is to reset it to factory defaults. This does mean that you will have to completely re-progam the system. I would document as much stuff as you can from the display before resetting it. If you don't have a copy of the installation manual I am providing a link below. Hope this helps.

The factory default code to reset the system is 8111, however this will reset all program functions back to the factory settings, with the exception of the time and date. The default Operator code to use the system is enter, enter, enter, enter. This should allow you to operate the system.
