Themes install just like applications. You can download them from the internet directly to your phone or upload them through the blackberry desktop. Blackberry also makes a tool for making your own themes, the interface for it is similar to Macromedia's Flash application

THEMES FOR UR MODEL http://gallery.mobile9.com/c/blackberry-storm2+9550-themes_2570/1/
hi friend, step 1
Open Blackberry App World from your phone. Go to search and put in the word "theme." Pick a theme you like and click "purchase" or "download" if the theme is free. If you want to get a theme from a third-party vendor, open your phone's browser, put in the address of the site you want to download, and choose a theme.
Step 2
If you have to pay to purchase the theme from Blackberry App World, you will be prompted to enter your Pay Pal account information and confirm your purchase. Once that is complete, it will prompt to download then take you to My World, where you can watch the download's progress. Once the theme is downloaded, click it to install. Depending on the theme, you may be prompted to reboot your phone. If you are using a third-party vendor, you will put in your payment information and download directly or via email. Some vendors will allow you to purchase on line and have the theme sent directly to your handset via email or SMS.
Step 3
Once your phone is rebooted, click the menu button and go to "Options," then "Theme." From there you should be able to choose your theme. You may have to accept terms of service and an end user license agreement.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){
var $this = jQuery(this);
$this.find('img').error(function(){
jQuery(this).remove();
$this.remove();
});
});
Tips & Warnings
If you ever want to change themes, just go back to Menu, Options and Theme and choose a new one.
New Blackberry users should note -- even if you have a memory card installed, your theme will go to flash memory, and not your memory card. Make sure your phone has sufficient memory free to download and run new themes. Ideally you should have about 20 MB free for your phone to run well. Also, some cell phone carriers have a cap on bandwidth, so you should keep track of your data usage so that you aren't hit with extra fees.

Just_Bobz is correct and incorrect at the same time... Not all blackberry curves are set up the same nor do they all have the same "theme" (layout) For instance the T-mobile Blackberry Curve (8120) has a different theme and therefore the sound option is not in the upper right hand corner like the Alltel Blackberry Curve (8330) default theme. chrisalexisx My suggestion is to find the volume control icon on your curve (or the volume themes as I like to call them). When you click on the speaker icon you will have the options for the different volume themes such as Loud, Vibrate, Quiet, Normal, Phone Only, and Off. Click on whichever theme you will be using on a regular basis to activate it. ** Another area where Just_Bobz is incorrect… just because you have put the volume theme on Loud does NOT mean that the phone is on its loudest possible sound setting!! If you go back into the volume themes, all the way at the bottom there is an Advanced option.. If you click on Advanced, highlight which ever theme says active next to it and click your trackball to open it ... you will then have the option to change the option for any and all alerts on the phone (ie email, phone, mms, sms, bbm. ect.) Under each of the different options there is ANOTHER sound option for low, medium, high, ect.(and there is an in and out of holster setting SOO.. Just because your volume theme is set to Loud.. does not mean that the phone is truly set to loud!!
