There are 3 types of volume: master volume, in-call volume, and multi-media volume. To adjust master volume, press and hold the thumb wheel until the volume control comes up and use the wheel to adjust it. When in a call use the thumb wheel to adjust the in-call volume. Finally, use the thumb wheel to adjust the volume of multi-media while it's playing. One thing to keep in mind, the master volume will override the multi-media volume, so if you can't hear the multi-media after turning it all the way up, you might try raising the master volume fist.

Youtube videos

Not being able to hear the sound of forwarded videos may mean a lot of things and can happen for a lot of reasons. Here are some of them:
1. You may have muted the video from the player's control (if you notice sth like a speaker with an x on it near the video).
2. You may have to see the video with an other browser (if it is displayed at your browser) or you may need to try a different player program (if it is a file).
3. You may have problem with the sound card driver (can you listen to music or other PC sounds?).
4. You may have problems with external speakers. See their volume control or power.
5. You may have muted the sound from the control panel..
..
and many more unfortunately.. Please be more specific regarding which volume controls have you tried.

This ihome has been playing staticky noises.. It's really annoying PLEASE HELP ME.

Speaker is "blown up" because you have played the volume too loud, im not sure if its expensive or it has hq sound, but you should buy a different one, if you wanna play loud music you should get a bigger one. BTW NEVER play at max vol. or it WILL break if u use it too long.

When i record videos with my easycap a crackling sound happens

Please check if the source audio output volume isn't too high and also if the audio input isn't set at max volume, these may cause that recorded audio get distorted, the solution is to set a lower volume to a normal level if this is the case.

How do i make th sound play with the videos

Hi!
During recording you need to adjust your settings to max volume or half the max. You cant here sound if its lowered down. Sometimes the mic had been covered by the hands so proper capturing of sound may be distorted that's why you dont hear sound. But if you mean to see arrange your videos playing with background music you can do it using the windows movie maker.

How to set Ans/Fax receiving mode of SCX-4521F?

Try setting the receive mode to FAX/ANS. If you want the fax not to pickup before a phone call comes in, you should set the number of fax rings to a higher number, like "5" for instance. Set the answering machine rings less and the fax higher. The machine will usually record a message first and then detect a fax tone.
