Newer towel bars don't have set screws... Solution-slide off! There is an opening in the bottom of the bracket. Slide your flat head screw driver inside the opening and place pressure on the bottom. Make sure you place enough pressure to allow the holder to slide off.. Now pull on the holder and it will snap off...

How to remove a towel bar with slot in bottom no set screw

There is no screw here.

Insert a small flat screwdriver -- small enough to fit fully in the hole -- and pivit it up, so that the tip presses toward the wall. This should easily release the locking tab.

How do you fix a Moen Towel Bar when the mounting system has come apart from the wall?

There are larger screw-type anchors available at a hardware store. If the hole is a half inch, you can possibly use an expanding wing type "molly" anchor. it's hard to assemble the screws through the bracket, then put on the butterfly, and shove the folded butterfly into the hole, but it's doable.

How do you remove the eva towel rack holder

The Moen YB2824 is attached to the mounting bracket with a set screw through the base. You would simply need to loosen this set screw to remove item from the wall.

How do i remove a towel bar that does not have a set screw on the flange cover?

I think you grab hold of the rosette closest to the wall and spin it off, it should expose the set screw. If that isn't it, one of those things will turn. Try a few different spots. hope this helps.

The left bracket/brace is off the wall. There is one long screw in the back center. How is this put back together?

There should be a small screw in each of the arms that secure the towel bar to the wall mounts. You will need to loosen each of these to remove the towel bar from the wall and to release the mounting bracket which has pulled free. To repair you need to puchase a larger size moly plug, toggle mount or other suitable hardware to secure the mounting bracket to the sheetrock wall (should not have pulled free is screwed in to the stud). Once you secure the mounting bracket then you are able to re-install the towel bar by placing the arms over the mounting brackets and tightening the small screws on each arm of the towel bar.

Here are a couple of videos which should help you undesrtand how towel bars are installed. Hope this is helpful. (do not delete) utube.png Here is a couple of videos that should help understand how towel bars

My towel bar is coming off of the wall and I need to tighten it to the wall. How do I do this?

Towel bars usually have a base that attaches to the wall with a screw. To expose the screw, you must loosen and or remove a small screw on the underside of the mounts. Once the screw is exposed just tighten it.

How to Install Towel Bar?

Since towel bars are usually installed onto separate hardware that's mounted on the walls, use the actual hardware as a template to mark exactly where to drill your mounting holes. Hold a piece of mounting hardware against the masking tape and use your pencil to mark the actual spots to drill your holes. Use different-sized drill bits to drill for the two ends. The Molly bolt or wall anchor will require a much larger diameter hole than the screws going directly into the stud. (The size of the hole required for the wall fastener will be marked on the packaging.) Install the wall fastener into the wall, then mount the hardware onto the wall and place the ends of the towel bar over the hardware. Attach the towel bar to the mounting hardware using the screws included with the towel bar. These are commonly small-slotted screws located on the bottom of the end pieces of the towel bar.
