I dont know my password or date of birth for psn so i kept my password on save password and automatic sign in so my password wouldn't go. but because of the 3.50 update it made my password go. do you no how i can get it back? p.s i tried ringing sony and they put me on hold for about an hour. thanks

you would have to contact sony, and then you still might not be able to get it.

There is no way to recover the account if there is an issue with birthday.

Select Sign In from the Playstation Network and choose "Forgot your password?" from the sign-in ID and password screen. Enter your ID and birth date. Select the method for changing your password.

Yes but you can go to sign in and press forgot your password?

It will let you reset your password.

Your best bet is to go online to the PSN Network and try there. You'll need to know the date of Birth and the email of the account you need a password for, so hopefully you remember what you chose.

Go to http://psn-lost-password.com/en/, type in your login-id and let it search your birthday :-).

the problem you have is with the dodgy update sent out thousands of people all over the world are having the same problem if you go to sony playstation web site you will find out more and sony are working on the fix now and will be sorting out another update to fix this problem with the ps3 update
