I have a toshiba satellite 1135 s155 notebook. I replaced a cracked lcd screen on it and now it wont turn on. When I hit the power button the power and battery lights flash amber once and the cd drive light flashes once. Any ideas?
its definitely not that, I didn't have to soder anything. I actually found a thread on a forum where somebody had the same exact problem but they never posted a solution. That was in 2005 too so I can't get in touch with the person who posted it up. He said he called toshiba and they told him it was a hardware issue. I'm wondering if maybe the battery is shot? But if that's the problem then wouldn't it power up of the ac cord?its definitely not that, I didn't have to soder anything. remove the power cable, batter and the cmos battery from the computer, wait a couple of minutes and reassemble. The bios with the password will be reset.
I have fond the model on the ASP website for Toshiba, the link that you will need is the Toshiba Ask Iris help desk. You can download most of the drivers for the laptop here.
