does it have a switch on the outside, if so flick it It should have a little nubby switch right there. You pull it down to lock, up to unlock. if not then You can replace the switch by placing a piece of tape over the gap in the unlocked position.

Memory card

connect the card in memory card reader and got to mycomputer-->right click-->manage-->disk management. see weather you memory size is correct or not if its different right click the memory card and delete the partation then create a new partation
