I'm trying to self clean the oven... I set the timer and the oven door locks but the display is reading DR.. model # mgr5750 thanks

Here are a couple of things to try:

1. Unplug the unit or shut off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes. Plug the unit back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.
2. Set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for 15 minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever (is so equipped) or opening the door.

From what you have described your Frigidaire oven lock is stuck open and you are receiving error codes "F9" and "DR". The "F9" error code stands for runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. This is a Door lock malfunction. you will need to replace the door lock mechanism. it is faulty.

Test the door lock mech for its operational value to be sure.if the door mech test is good, replace the control(ERC/Clock)

Sounds like you bent the door where the lock is. You might have to replace the door.

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

push in on the oven light switch and hit clean then cancel you have to hold the oven light switch thats what tells the eoc the door is closed if this dont work reply to me
