I think your confuse on the terminology.
MS OFFICE = MS word, excel, access.......
There won't be any icons, but if you go to all programs, there will be a folder called "MS Offfice".

If you want to creat the short cut to the MS office folder .. then go to all programs, go to MS office, right click, select send to desktop. You will see a short cut to your MS office.

I want to download excel 2007

Hi

As already stated, full, genuine licenced versions of Microsoft Products cannot usually be downloaded.

It is, however generally possible to download Free 60 day Trial versions of some MS Office products.

Microsoft no longer offer and have withdrawn Free Downloads for MS Office 2007 Trial Products. All their efforts are now focused on marketing and support for MS Office 2010.

Microsoft often does this after a new product has been launched.

If you are determined to use MS Office 2007, then you will have to purchase a licensed copy of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon (www.amazon.com).

Online offers of Free Downloads of MS Office 2007 products are probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or are masquerading non-existent MS Office 2007 products as camouflague for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software, products or services.

Even if you do succeed in finding a genuine download site for MS Office 2007 products AND manage to complete a successful, uncorrupted download, you will still have to purchase a separate, genuine, unused Licence for the product before you can successfully install it, use it with confidence, register it, activate it and download and benefit from Updates and Security Patches for it from Microsoft.

Go to: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

Download MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial (which includes Excel 2010 60 Day Trial ) and install it, carefully following each step.

If you do not want to buy or cannot afford a full, licensed copy of MS Office Excel 2010 or MS Office 2010 Pro, and/or prefer to pursue the downloading option, consider the latest version of a genuine, comparable free program -

Open Office - downloadable from:

www.openoffice.org

You can use Open Office simultaneously with MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office Pro 2010 60 Day Trial.

If you delete MS Office Excel 2010 60 Day Trial or MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial, well before the 60 day expirty date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and restarting before downloading and installing, it is usually possible to enter into a further 60 Day trial period.

I hope this helps.

Hi Team, I have created macro in MS Excel2007 and after executing macro output file will be created MS Excel2003. Once MS Excel2003 file closed and reopen all the formating lost. How can overcome this...

It is unlikely that you can really overcome this as Office 2003 and Office 2007 have completely different file formats and structures. But if you output it to an Office 2007 file and use the Microsoft converter for Office 2003 than it may work. The converter can be found here

Microsoft offers trial versions on their website, the trial usually last about 60-90 days. after that you would need to purchase a license to continue using the software.

How to download ms excel?

You can download the trial version of the software from the Microsoft website.
The trial version can run upto 60 days,

else there is another software which is similar to excel called Minitab. I would prefer Minitab to Excel. This can also be downloaded but only the trial version but can be reinstalled after the trial version expires.

I want to install Microsoft office Excel 2003 trial pack on my PC

Why a trial version of such old s/w? If you're sure you want that version of trialware, go ahead and start by placing the first disk in the CD drive (or if you have downloaded it, double-click on the installation file); if it doesn't open the Setup program automatically, try navigating from the My Computer window to see your CD drive, right-click on the CD drive and select Explore (the least harmless choice) and look for Setup.exe on the disk (double-click it to run the setup program).

The latest version of Excel is 2007 and it seems fine to me. MS has free d/ls of it on their site.

Plan B if you just need to view an Excel worksheet/book is to install the free reader from MS (from their Downloads site). It's more lightweight than any other option.

Office 2007 Standard - VBA not working

There is no indication that VBA should not work in all versions of Excel. There is a new file extension (xlsm), which is used to activate macros and allow usage. If you have, perhaps, opened and saved with incorrect extension (new is xlsx), VBA may be unavailable. Try to resave it with the changed extension. It seems likely that this is the issue (reference http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HP100141031033.aspx?pid=CH100648071033). Also, if you make sure your Save As option is set at xlsm, this should help to prevent problems. VBA should not be an issue in any version of Excel and custom functions ARE available (see http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/HA102189961033.aspx?pid=CH100645021033). It should be as simple as changing the extension, and I would suggest changing the default save as option. If this helps, please rate "FixYa"! Thanks!
