Scan to smb

Hello experts

I am no expert so my problem is this – I need to scan to folder (SMB something???) .
I create a special user for the scanner machine with administrator authorization .
I create a folder on the server with authorization for everyone and the scanner user .
When I press "scan to SMB " on the machine and I fill all the fields that required then I press
start and I get the error code : 016-782
thanks a lot .

Rika .

How to scan to smb with konica minolta bizhub 250

create a folder on the pc you want to scan to and share the folder on the network. This must be done or the printer will not see the folder. Then register a new SMB user on the bizhub and direct it to that pc's IP and the shared folder.

How can i hook up the scanner?

Hook the network cable to your scanner nec card on the machines, note that this machine has two nec cards, one for printer and one for scanner.
after that Go to the setting and under setting/Scanner Default create and ip address for the scanner. after you done from that go to the computer browser, type in the ip address, you can choose scan to smb or pc.
Scan to smb needs shard folder but scan to pc needs to run software on your computer on your pc.
Setup the sender list which you need to fill only the ip address of the machine as sender.
Go to destination setup the ip address of the computer you scanning to, the path is the shared folder name, and the user name and password of your computer and you good to go.

To make it easy for you, Provide me your email and i will attach the scanning manual to help you setup it correctly and you can always get back to me in any question.

Device does not recognize delivery server

this device does not support scan router v2 lite.
your best bet would be to set up using SMB scan to folder.
set up is pretty straight forward create a folder on the root of C: ie C:scans
share the folder with full permissions, simple file sharing has to be turned off!!
then go into the device web page using the IP address ie: 192.168.xxx.xxx.
go to configuration and smb create a user name ie: bill then point the device to the computer you created the folder on, ie: bill's pc/c:scans
save the configuration log out of the web utility reboot the device and you should have succesfully created an smb folder share.

if this resolves or answers your query please rate me accordingly
good luck and thanks

KM-1820 scanner setup

The KM-1820 to scan to PC is using SMB, FTP or e-mail.

for SMB:
I am assuming you have the KM-1820 connected within the network and a static IP address for it.
open any Internet browser and go to KM-1820's IP address.
You should see the Command Centre web page.
Go to Basic page and add/register a contact within the Address Book.
Give a name and at the SMB section field, fill up with your computer hostname or the ip address of your computer where you want to scan. Fill up the user name with the local user name - the one what you are using to get into your computer - or create a new LOCAL user for your PC lets say "kyocera". So for SMB will be your computer and username: kyocera. (You will need a password for that computer user (kyocera) ). Then create a folder "scan" where you want ot receive the scanned files and add "scan" at the path field (SMB section of that webpage - command center).
Now share the folder "scan" as "scan".

if you want you can always use the scan to e-mail !! but you need a smtp server. All the settings can be done using that command center webpage.

Help with scanning on mour Ricoh Aficia 2035.

Since this is a  network printer, you can scan to folder,FTP site or email. alot will depend on your network enviroment. SMB is the simplest. The folder you are scanning to need permission to write to the folder. If you have email you need to enter your smtp server IP address in the user tools and an senders email address. the manuals with the copier will help or download them.
