That is the number of messages you have on your machine. If you don't like having messages, then you can delete them by pressing and holding the Play/pause button (blue button below the red answering machine light) until messages start to play. once they do, hit the remove button for each message you want to remove. Kepeech?

if you don't like having a message number higher than zero, then you probably shouldn't have an answering machine! :)

My sony ericsson c902 hev probem to sending end receiv msg

Try performing a 'Master reset' to restore your phone settings back to default.

Select 'Menu' > then select 'Settings' > then select the 'General' tab > then select 'Master reset'.

You will then be asked to choose between 'Reset settings' or 'Reset all'.

'Reset settings' will restore your phone settings but will keep all of your personal data.
'Reset all' will DELETE all of your personal data and restore phone settings.

Try just 'Reset settings' first then try to send a message to yourself, this will test if your phone is able to send and receive messages. If messaging still won't work, try 'Reset all' then try to send another message.

If it still won't send or receive messages, I recommend you give call Sony Ericsson Customer Service a call, their worldwide phone number list can be found at:

Laptop not used for some years. could enter bios OK to reset Replaced U/S CMOS battery with no problem. Restarted............ Message press F1 ibm bios setup press F11 to invoke IBM product recovery...

I received an IBM laptop with same issue a few months back. The error message due to the drained out CMOS RTC (coin-cell battery), which retains and other BIOS settings.
The system is OK and all you have to do is to get the CMOS/RTC battery replaced by the a professional.
Good Luck!

"00 msg slots left."

click HOME, then go to SETTINGS, then you go down to MORE, then go to SECURITY, and it will ask for a USER LOCK ( it is the last FOUR digits of your cell phone number like for ex. 555-465-6788. 6788 could be the last for digits if this was somebody's cell phone number. after that click ERASE/RESET, and erase ALL of your Web cache; web history; and web cookies and erase all of your messages if you scroll down.

Pics being sent to me are going to album on G1

Check with G1 support at T-Mobile to see if the receivers information is being blocked from your service. They should be able to fix it on their end.

JVC Compact Camcorder modle number GR-AXM18U

I had this same issue and it was driving me crazy. If you do not turn the camcorder on and hold the eject button, when it is trying to eject tap right in the middle of the tape (next to the eject button)  I had to do this twice before it opened but it worked. It tends to tighten the tape up and reset that error code message it is receiving internally.

TAD2012 Quick Reference Guide

and replace cover.
2. Plug the telephone line cord (connected to the back of the TAD2012) into the modular wall
jack.

an extension cord.

Answering System Operation

Recording Your Personal Greeting
1. Press and hold down the GREETING control.
2. After the beep, speak towards the front of the base; you have 30 seconds.
3. When finished, release button. Your unit will play back your greeting and

4. Adjust volume control on the side of the unit to set the speaker to the desired level.

Select the Number of Rings
Choose 2,4 or TS (Toll Saver), which programs the number of rings that you want before your unit answers.

To Play Back Your Messages
1. When the message indicator flashes, you have received messages.
2. To hear your messages, press and release the PLAY control. Your unit will automatically
reset after messages are played.

To Save Your Messages
After the last message and 2 beep tones, press the STOP/SAVE control.

IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE OR IF ANSWERING SYSTEM IS NOT OPERATING PROPERLY

If a power failure occurs or the plug comes out of the wall, your unit will shut down until the power is restored. One 9-volt battery must be installed to retain your personal greeting message and incoming messages during the power failure. Occasionally outside factors, such as power surges, may adversely affect the unit. If the unit is not operating properly or if the light continues to flash once power is restored, try these steps:
1. Unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet.
2. Remove the 9-volt battery. Replace with a fresh 9-volt battery.
3. Plug AC adapter back into power outlet.
4. When your unit is initially plugged in, it will check its memory for approximately 3 seconds.
Three deep tones will be heard if you attempt to record a greeting message before this
period.
5. Record a new greeting message.
