Try the new keyboard in a different computer, to see if the new keyboard is defective.

Try the old keyboard (or a different one) in your computer, to see if the keyboard-port is still functioning correctly.

Suddenly can't type in keyboard. Desktop computer. Brand new batteries. Must fix soon. Help!

I would take the batteries back out and put them back in. You may have put the batteries in the wrong way. Another thing you can do is to unplug the dongle that came with the keyboard and mouse. You can wait a few seconds and plug it back in. The batteries you are installing may be bad. Try installing another set of alkaline batteries. Try rebooting your computer, see if that helps. Your wireless keyboard and mouse may be going out. You can find new wireless keyboards and mice at Walmart, Best Buy, Office Depot, Etc.

Sir my computer starts but during booting it asks for keyboard error problem and shuts down randomly n automatically sir i need a quick answer i m bored of it my computer is brand new what to do

turn computer off and unplug the keybord. then plug it back in. it sounds like the plug has wiggled loose and it is saying that you don't have a keyboard attached. this will cause a "halt on keyboard error". this is what is happening to you. if unplugging and re plugging does not help, buy a new keyboard. but is suspect that if the system is new or nearly new it has just wiggles loose is all.

Hi

Format your memory card first, got to your folders select the folder you want to move to external memory, e.g. highlight the song, press options select file scroll to move to external memory. Remember when you download its goes to your phone memory first then you must move it to your external memory.

Ms9520 won't send info to computer, shuts down my keyboard

Sounds like something is plugged in wrong or when you were moving it something came ajar. Sometimes cards in memory slot, pci slots or pcie slots come ajar when moving. Open desktop and inspect all your cards in their slots You will see what I am talking about if you open it up.
even if one of the cards is a tad crooked it will act like you are saying, it shuts down to protect itself and sometimes it is too late. Just push down on all the cards in slots to make sure they are firmly in place. See what happens.

Cant get pound sign to work or other symbols seem to be in wrong place

you need to check your keyboard language settings as it sounds like it is set to US english

go to regional settings and check ( it is on a button in one of the sub pages... you really need to check everything)

although I understand that you have already checked this, this is the ONLY thing that causes this so you have missed something

Dimension c521 computer gives a post error, floppy drive 0 error and keyboard error

Hi,
The compute post tests the computer, insuring that it meets the necessary system requirements and that all hardware working properly before starting the remainder of the boot process.
1 Short Beep, Normal POST, computer is okay. No problem. 2 Short Beep, POST error....floppy drive 0 error and keyboard error........This can happen because there is something wrong with your floppy drive, something is causing your computer not to detect it or that you simply don't have one.
Check your floppy cables and connections first to ensure that they are connected properly, if they are then you may have a burned out controller on your motherboard, a bad floppy cable or drive, or your motherboard may be faulty. If you don't have one you can disable the message in your computers BIOS. To get to the BIOS screen, during boot up at the bottom of the screen it will say something like "press F2 for setup" or something along those lines. That will take you to the BIOS screen. In the settings there should be options like first boot device, second boot device, and so on... change the one that say 3.5 floppy to something else such as your CD rom. That will get rid of that message.
Keyboard error or no keyboard present shows up when your computer can't find your keyboard or there is something wrong with it. Replace with new keyboard. Thank you

If I had to guess Fn would be a misprint for one or F1 since that is the "HELP" button in most programs. Probally not very helpfull just throwing it out there.
