If you can't set the alarm function follwing the instructions of a new watch, might mean that this watch is defective and should be covered by warranty. If you mess with it, you'll lose the right to claim warranty service, so should return it to the shop where you bought it or take it to authorized servce according to warranty terms.

Go to http://www.festina.com/ and click on "Downloads".

You will see a box below the heading "Manuals", enter your watch number in there and click on search.

You can get instructions on page 20 of the instruction manual for your watch.

Go to http://www.festina.com/descargas/manuales/IFMOS80.pdf. The instructions seem clear=, so you shouldn't have any trouble following them.

mcdevito75 here, Look for any small watch repair shop in your area for a new band / strap.

You can check with a reputable watch repair shop, you should be able to replace with generic parts and save a good amount of money! If not then you can always send it back to Festina to have it repaired!

The steps are like this :
1. Pull the crown full, and turn it clockwise until you find the right day.
2. and then push it one click (dont push it to hard so it back to normal position) and turn the crown counter clockwise to adjust date.
3. Push the small button near the crown to adjust month.

and voila... the problem solved
