Hey Farooga,

The newest Nintendo update (1.4.1 or 1.4.2) blocks most flash cards on the DSi and DSi XL consoles so it's quite likely you've fallen victim to this. Check out DSCardWorld.com's blog post about it here:

http://www.dscardworld.com/blog/2010/09/24/dsi-1-4-1-firmware-fixes-for-acekard-2i-ezflash-vi-m3i-zero/

You can probably buy a card that works with the 1.4.1 update like the Acekard 2i, EZFlash Vi or M3i Zero. However, make sure you only buy the real one as fake/clone cards can't be updated when Nintendo releases a new firmware (it makes them cheaper to produce that way, which is why they don't do it). I recommend grabbing them from DSCardWorld.com itself or nds-gear.com if you're in Canada or Europe, since their international shipping rates are a bit cheaper.

Good luck!

MY DSI IS SAYING "SYSTEM DATE ERROR! PLEASE CHECK nds SYSTEM DATA. CAN i FIX THIS EASILY AT HOME MYSELF?

You have to update de firmware of your R4 card (I just tested the new version V1.16b for mij R4i and the bug is fixed). For the time being you can change back the date before the 14th of April and you can play directly.

R4 Deluxe Cards

OK, my kids have the R4, iam not sure its the Deluxe one, but they look same as yours, anyway i went and downloaded the newest version of R4 software from here
h**p://r4ds.cn/download/r4_v1.18_kernel.html, now change ** to tt, (http) in the link.
Now with the older version a lot of the games did not work, when i downloaded the newest version
(english kernel v1.18) most of them worked, and make sure you read that web page.
----- How to update R4?
After downloading and decompressing the new updated files, there will be one shell folder and two files _DS_MENU.DAT、 _DS_MSHL.NDS.Copy these files to the root directory of TF(the memory card in R4) card to replace the former files(i suggest to cut and paste old system kernel file from yours to a folder, then put the new ones in).
this one worked for me for most of the games. thanks
