SOURCE: With ASUS M2N-MX mainboard, ATI Radeon 7000 Series problem.

Your Motherboard has an onboard video chipset made by Nvidia. Nvidia and ATI have a history of not playing nice with each other.

I have 2 possible solutions for you.

1.) Remove the Radeon card and use the Nvidia onboard card (Essentially a Geforce 6100)

2.) Enter the bios (Usually done by hitting <Delete> or <F12> while the computer is booting up) Your Motherboards manual can tell you for certain. Then find the options for onboard video and disable it.

Then boot up the PC, When it say starting Windows press <F8> to bring up the windows boot menu. Select "Start in Safe mode" Once this loads up open the device manager, look under "Display adapters" find the entry for the Nvidia adapter, right click on it and select either "Uninstall" or "Disable this device"

Which you choose depends on your personal preference Whether you like Nvidia or ATI boards better.

If it makes your decision easier a Geforce 6100 is roughly equivalent to a Radeon 8500 in performance.

I hope this helps

Windows 7 requires One Gigabyte of RAM to even run. You are most likely running out of memory when you're playing games and/or watching video. I would suggest upgrading your memory on your computer, if you're on the cheap, or if you can afford to do so, invest in a new machine.

After instaling windows 7 nothing back from my speakerd

This motherboard is an old model, and may not work with windows 7 completely.
If you have the CD that the motherboard came with, insert it and search for audio drivers. Otherwise search this website for any appropriate drivers: http://support.asus.com/knowledge.aspx?SLanguage=en&p=1&s=24&m=M2N-MX&os=&hashedid=0pKBwEIE8tqMT4j7
Hope that helps.

I installed Windows 7 in the Asus M2N-MX series motherboard but could not load audio drivers. Where can I dowload audio driver from?

The drivers for Vista should work just as well for Windows 7. This is true with almost everything about Windows 7; in fact, Windows 7 is actually NT kernel 6.1! (Vista is NT kernel 6.)
1) Go here: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx 2) Type M2N-MX into the search box on the left. 3) Select M2N-MX from the results. 4) For your OS choose Vista 32-bit if you installed the 32-bit version of Windows 7 or Vista 64-bit if you installed the 64-bit version. 5) Have fun.
Good luck.

Asus m2nmx does not support additional ram in win 7

That motherboard supports up to 4 GB. Make sure that the sticks are exactly the same and are put in the first socket of each channel.
