Disassemble your phone. Clean it properly with thinner or alchohol. Then assemble your phone.

Please. My 1999 318 bmw remote went swimming in the pool for a an hour or so. dried it out replaced the battery but still no good.

dont spray it with anything and dont give up hope, just keep it somewhere dry and warm , I had a mobile phone that went in the paddling pool for 15 mins and it started working again after 8 months !
I could not believe it ! I had given up and just thought I'd press the power button one more time before I recycled it

I dropped 1 of our uniden phones in water and it is not working. It is from a set of 3. The other two are fine, Whay should I do?

It might be too late. but...

1. Take out the battery from the phone.
2. shake an excess water from the phone.
3. Allow to dry for 48 hrs.
4. Replace the battery and maybe the phone will work.

I have a uniden that's been in a swimming pool and it came back to life.

Good luck.

Phone is wet. dropped the phone in the rain...it was left outside 45 minutes

One time that happened to us tho it was actually dropped in a pool. We took battery out and dried it for a couple days. When we put the battery back in, it ACTUALLY worked. May not work for everyone or every phone but worth a try.

My son dropped his T Mobile phone into a swimming

I would go for it. Battery may be discharged. It is either going to work or not. Water damage is the worst thing tp predict. Circuits may have corrosion unless you have looked at the boards.

Phone wil not turn on

The best thing to do anytime the phone gets wet, is to immediately remove the battery. I dropped one into a pool. I took the battery out and let the thing dry for about a week. It worked fine until I got rid of it about a year and a half later. The key is to removing the battery. The moisture and power together are the lethal combination.
