My laptop was recently crashed and i had recently re reformatted my laptop ,but the audio is not working at all, plz help.there is no sound.

i want audio driver for compaq presario v2000. i tried in hp site but it is not suitable

plz help me and solve my problem of compaq c794wu audio driver installation .

No sound card was found. If one is expected, you should install a sound driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.

U NEED TO ENABLE THE SOUND IN BOIS IF THE ONBOARD SOUND IS DISABLED IN THE BOIS THE SOUND CARD WONT BE DETECTED

Fisrt go to the bios and ENABLE SOUND CARD

Then UNINSTALL COMPLETLLY AUDIO DRIVERS IF U HAVE INSTALLED and restart the pc.After that go with safe mode and from device menager install driver just from there.Do not run setup...Then restart the pc and run setup...
If it wont work let me know and i will continiuing to help u
