Disney Pix Micro Digital - stopped working after 10 minutes

Seemed to work OK initially (LCD screen showed 14 pictures taken). After about 10 minutes use, however, the count reset to 00 - now it will only switch on with the "trashcan" button and nothing happens when clicking the shutter button - display stays at 00. We've tried changing the battery three times, using both brand new Duracell AAA's and Energizer rechargable - same result each time.

We have only been using our camera for about 30 minutes, but, after just 23 pix, it just stopped working, and the button used to snap the pic just wouldnt work! It is really frustrating, cause we cant take it back, and she spent her christmas money on it! i am sooo frustrated! PLEASE HELP! (p.s., I tried taking out the battery and pressing some buttons, but that didnt help at all )

The type or memory in the camera requires a charge in order to store data. So if you have any pictures on the camera it will constantly be pulling a charge from the battery until the battery is completely drained. If you have this problem even with a brand new battery it's possible that the memory may be corrupt and needs to be cleared. To do this just remove the battery and press both buttons several times each to make sure that the camera is completely discharged, replace the battery with a brand new battery and try again. If that fails I'd get in touch with customer service for a replacement.

I've lost my CD with the software to download the photo's of my daughters disney cars digital camera. Who can help me find this software?

1) Connect the camera with the provided USB cable.
2) Download the latest driver from the web site:
http://www.opendrivers.com/driver/226086/medion-disney-pix-digital-camera-driver-1.0-windows-xp-free-download.html
select the "The Disney Pix Micro Drivers for WIN ME, 2000, XP"
3) Install this driver, this will not enable the camera to work yet.
4) After this driver has installed, go to Control Panel
5) Select System
6) Select the Hardware tab
7) Select Device Manager
8) Find the device in the list (mine said "USB Digital Still Camera"), will probably have the yellow exclamation mark on it saying that it is not working.
9) Double click the device
10) Select "Reinstall Driver" from the General tab
11) When asked if Windows can connect to Windows Update to search for software, select "Yes, this time only" and click Next.
12) Choose "Install the software automatically" and click Next.
13) You should get a message saying the driver for the "DB CIF Cam" has not passed the Windows Logo testing, select "Continue Anyway".
14) Click Finish.
15) The first time I did this, I needed to take a picture while the camera was connected to the PC.

After doing this I am able to download the pictures and everything works great. I hope this helps.

Read file error - twain MFC. Disney micro pix camera does not load pictures onto pc.

If there is a card in your camera, try to read it with a card reader. If this work the best solution is to buy a card reader instead repairing the camera. Is less expensive.

Disney pix micro: HELP!

That will happen. If you open the camera from My Computer, or Computer in Windows Vista, it completely empties the memory. You need to use the Pix Micro Downloader to transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer. There should be a shortcut on your desktop for the Downloader. If there isn't you can go to the following address to get the installer package for it.
