There is a tiny spring that must make contact with the back cover plate when you screw it back on. If the spring is missing, the piezoelectric buzzer will not work. The tiny spring is located toward the upper right in this photo of a Casio W-94H watch, directly underneath the "C" in CASIO that is etched in the metal. Note that the word CASIO is upside down in the picture, so if you can't see the picture for some reason, the hole for the tiny spring would be directly above the "C" in CASIO.

Check the manual it should be covered there.

Use this page to download a copy of CASIO watch manuals in PDF format. To download a PDF file, enter the four-digit (or three-digit) module number marked on the back cover of your watch.

You will need a pdf reader on your pc, you will find all instructions in there.

SOURCE: Casio F91W-1 Wrist Watch- backlight color

You can change the backlight on a casio wristwatch by holding the Light button, but only if it has an LED light in the side of the screen such as yours does. There is Light Blue, Red, Pink, Blue, Green LEDs in the side of the screen and you can change between them. There is also an option that flashes between all the LEDs when you press the button.

Casio GW810D I have changed the battery, the display is now running but none of the buttons are functioning. Have I missed/lost something. Any help is appreciated.

you need to do this Shortcut the battery with AC contact. AC can be found on the sides of watch movement(very tiny). You have to use pointed tweezers: one end on battery+, another on AC contact for three secs

Changing the battery on My Casio Watch module 1848. Two tiny coil springs fell out. Where do they go? I reassembled the watch where i think they belong, and face is blank.

The contact springs most likely have nothing to do with your screen being black.
The watch will have an "AC" or all clear function that needs to be performed. Check the back lid for AC or reset instructions. If there are no instructions there then you will have to visit a watch repairman/technician to have this procedure performed as it involves touching the AC pad on the circuit board to the back of the battery already installed. The circuit board is easily damaged if not performed properly.

For Casio F-91W how do I replace battery? I see 4

Most of these resin-case F-series Casio sport watches use a fairly large lithium coin cell battery. Once the four screws holding the watch back are removed, you should be able to just pop off the stainless steel spring clip that holds the cell in place and pull it out, without having to remove any more screws. Be careful when replacing the clip, because it is asymmetrical and goes in only one way. Also be careful not to lose the tiny spring contact that connects the watch movement to the piezoelectric sound element glued to the watch back. If you lose the spring, the watch will still run, but the alarm won't sound anymore.

Casio Databank 150

If your databank is like mine (DB-35H), there is a TINY spring in a really unusual spot that you probably didn't notice that fell out. Laying the watch face down and with the back off, there is a little tiny hole in the back towards one of the corners. (sorry, already put my watch back together and didn't notice which corner.) There is a tiny (1/16" x 1/4") spring that sits upright in that hole. It must make a contact with the metal cover. I replaced my battery and when I did, a spring fell out. I looked all over the internet, then wrote Casio, who said they didn't have access to the information about where the spring went. (Doh!) I got a used DB-35H from my brother and was going to swap the innards when I noticed the spring on his. Put my spring back and it beeps! If you've lost the spring, don't know if you can fake it with tinfoil or not, but it really is a TINY spring. Good luck.
