Buttons on the Device: Look for any buttons on the device itself. Sometimes, there are buttons that allow you to navigate through menus and adjust settings directly on the device.
Trial and Error: Try pressing different buttons on the device to see if any of them bring up a menu for setting the time. Look for buttons labeled "Menu," "Setup," "Clock," or similar.
Long Press: Sometimes, pressing and holding certain buttons on the device can activate different functions. Try pressing and holding various buttons to see if it triggers a menu for setting the time.
Google Search: If you know the model number of your Ultech device, try searching online for the manual. Many manuals are available for download from manufacturer websites or other online sources.
Contact Manufacturer: If you're unable to find the manual online or if you're still having trouble setting the time, try reaching out to Ultech's customer support. They may be able to provide you with guidance on how to set the time on your device.
Replace Remote Batteries: If the remote isn't working, try replacing the batteries. Sometimes, a non-functional remote can be as simple as dead batteries.
hi,
Press and hold 4 buttons on the four corners at the same time for 3 seconds to reset the watch after battrey replacement. check the last page of the manual for the same.
mcdevito75 here, Best Bet is too return to the shop and have them re-set the time. Meanwhile from your home page type in the watches name.com and contact them (the maker) for an instruction manual.
I replaced my battery too...same watch same ugly condition where you can't set time nor does the light work.
I do know what the problem is: there was an ultra small copperish spring...about 1/6 the size of the other little wire spring that you have to short with twizers to reset time. Anyway, I lost this part...and even if I found it, I wouldn't know where it goes. I came on-line to find where the missing part goes...but everyone has the same issue as me. any jeweler would loose this parts just like me...it's the master contact the enables power to all the side pushbuttons
You should probably replace the battery using a new CR2016 battery. Let the watch set a while without the battery to help it reset. WR 100m just means the watch is "Water Resistant to 100 Meters". Then use the following info. Timex has two ways to find information about your particular watch. Some of these models only have a guide consisting of a few pages. If you don't have the manual, Try this link:
Now, look up the model number, or if you cannot find that, check the three-digit Module Number from the back of the watch. Click on it in the Module Table, and download a PDF of your watch setting-instructions/manual.
If you need further help, call Timex in Little Rock, Arkansas, phone 1-800-448-4639. I hope this helps you. Thanks, Bill
If you just bought it and it doesnt work, you need to return it to the store that you bought it from for a replacement and for manual/instructions. Probably had the battery run down while it was in the store but they can check that for you as well.
Good luck.
Did you go to Casio and download the manual? I just did after my battery change and I hoping it updates tonight at 2,3, or 5am with my watch in the window.
