Hello sir, hi, this error could be several, so check this one by one:

  1. make sure your pc boots on the hard drive, not floppy, or other boot devices.
  2. If you are setting up windows boot from the CD drive.
  3. check your HARD DRIVE, this may be due to failure, format it using a low level format utility like disk manager.
  4. re-seat Hard Drive cables. use another cable if necessary.

E-E61 media test failure check cable pxe-mof exiting pxe rom. operating system not found. how do i find it

Hard drive lost communications with motherboard. Remove it and reseat it. Check BIOS if it sees the HD.

Disable PXE boot in BIOS or remove from 1st boot option. This is a LAN (network) boot option. It can't find a DHCP server, that's why the media test failure is displayed. It's usually used to load an OS image from network.

When i start the laptop it shows media test failure,check cable exiting pxe rom os not found

Your computer is configured to try to "boot" from several devices:
* floppy-disk
* CD/DVD drive
* disk-drive
* network (via connecting to a "boot-server" on your local network)

So, "media test failure" means that no Ethernet cable is connected to the network-port on the computer. So, if you are trying to boot from a "boot-server" over the network, check that the Ethernet cable is connected, and check that the boot-server is processing boot-requests.

Thus, the PXE (Pre eXecution Environment) is exiting, because it cannot boot from the network -- no Operating System was accessible over the network.

So, enter BIOS SETUP, and disable the "network boot" option,
if no boot-server exists.

Also, put a boot-disk into the floppy-drive, or the CD/DVD drive,
or, most importantly, check that your disk-drive is working.

If your disk-drive is not getting power, or its "data" cable is not connected, or if the disk-drive has a problem, then Windows cannot be read from the disk, and so the computer tries an "alternate" boot-device.

Your laptop is trying to boot via LAN(network). Possible the HDD is not being detected by your system that is why it could not boot to windows. Try to boot up without the ethernet (your internet cable) connected to it and see if it works. If not, you may have a bad HDD.

Hope this helps.

Wile I am trying to boot it up it goes in to a loop

Hello.

That error message usually refers to a hard disk failure. Your hard disk cable could be loose or faulty. Or, your hard drive would need to be replaced.

I'd suggest to check the cable and run your system's hardware diagnostics (often F2 or F12) when your system boots.

Hope this helps.
