My phone smartchip is inactive, how can i make it active again??
Please read your user manual book you can get this option do it same like in the book
I've had the same problem occur once or twice. Seems when the cellular provider makes a system switch from one tower to another system (carrier) the SIM chip can sometimes become temporarily deactivated.
To solve this issue complete the following steps:
1. Shut your phone down
2. Remove your battery and leave it out of the phone for a few minutes
3. Remove you SIM card and wait for a count of 10sec
4. Reinstall the SIM and battery
5. Power the unit on
6. Perform an Initial System Configuration/Setup
7. When the system prompts you to copy the phone list information, select YES
8. Check your phone status. It should now be back to normal.
If following these simple steps does NOT bring your phone back to normal, there may be a problem with either your cellular account (account suspended) or there has been failure of the local cellular network you are trying to connect to. To verify this you will need to either have a second phone with the same carrier to verify connection and/or SIM functionality. If this is not possible, contact your service provider to report a service outage.
