Sharp 1641cs - Dark/black page after replacing drum & toner

Hi you have not said the toner type you replaced with though that will give not completely black copy. The problem may have been the drum unit installation. Make sure the charge unit over the drum service is present ie the one with a mesh wire like grid. If present, clean it or wipe with a soft clean and dry cloth. Clean the saw-tooth like metal plate inside that unit by slow blowing and make sure no toner particles are there. Finally screw the unit properly on the drum unit and your problem is solved.

Light print on side of paper. color black copies, print, internal

Ninty-five percent of all image issues like this are caused by the carona-drum-toner assembly. I have not worked on this model but the only way to diagnose the issue is to try a new drum / toner cartridge and see what impact it has. Then once you resolve the issue you can discuss the service life after the fact.

My printer drum light is lit and will not copy. I have put in a new drum and the is still lit and will not copy

Hi
Please follow the bellow instruction…
Open the front panel.
Remove the toner and the drum.
Remove the toner from the drum.
On each side of the toner, there should be a little glass. Put the piece of duck tape on one of them.
Put everything as it was.
Turn on your printer.
Now, the low toner light should be gone and the green light should be on.
Now, you can empty your cartridge.
If the Drum light is still lit after replacing the drum unit, the Drum counter may not be reset.
Reset the Drum counter as follows:

Open the front cover.
Locate the control panel button under the LED lights on the left side.
Pres the control panel button until all lights are lit, and then release it.

The Drum counter is now reset.

Afficio450 replace new developer unit wat procedure to be follow?

No, the 450 is just one of those machines that seem to have PCQ no matter what you do. Given light copies, I'd replace the drum for sure and make sure your ID sensor isn't covered with toner. Dust covered optics will also cause light copies on this model.

CANON 1600

Try to clean the drum & shake toner & it's nothing to do with transfer roller for sure , it's your drum unit only . Another thing ,was your drum unit exposed to light for more time than normal , in that case try another drum ,try this i think that will solve your problem

Replacing drum unit on copier: Sharp SF 2114

Well, if the light under the glass doesn't come on, that means that black copies can hapen. Nothing to do with the drum or drum unit. Either the lamp burnt or the protecting fuse is blown. If you take out the glass, you can mouve the carriage with the mirrors to the right and you can see the exposure lamp. If it has dark ( like silver) bands on it, the lamp is burnt and its brightness will not be enough to make a copy. CHANGE THE LAMP. If the lamp is ok check the thermic fuse wich is in touch with the lamp carriage, and normaly it burns when taking a lot of copies in one go. The drum is a red cilinder that is in drum unit next to the developer unit where you put the toner. If you open the ma chine you can see it about the midle just above the transfer corona. If you don't get it right i can explain how to change the drum. GOOD LUCK.

CC and drum Icon will not go out after changing toner cartridge

This Machine needs a copy cartridge. Replacing the toner will not clear it. The copy cartridge is the drum unit which is why the drum light is on. With the new copy cartridge a chip on the cartridge will reset the counter and clear the "CC" and the drum light. If you cant find this I can send you one. I believe on this model it is user replaceable.
