1. OS CD Damaged / corrupted.
2. Disk Drive Corrupted.

4. Your hard disk master boot record got damaged.

Hope i was able to solve your problem.

A505 S6970 Toshiba laptop HDD#1/SDD#1 password

Maybe you mean log on password. If you never enter a password to log on, but suddenly when turning on the computer, you are prompted to enter a password to log on, but always failed. You try to log in using an administrator user but failed. Chances are, the operating system is infected with viruses.
So, the operating system has controlled the virus.

solution:
Install the new operating system (not repair the operating system)

Laptop gets very hot to the touchj after 10 min. also gets a message error loading operating system

Hi, the error loading Operating System means Windows Operating System is corrupted or not able to boot in the Notebook. I suggest that you to re-install the Windows Operating System by using the Recovery CD or the Recovery Partition (Initiated by pressing F10 Key at the startup of the Notebook or refer user manual) If all fails, get a copy of Windows Operating System then re-install it. After installing the Windows, please install all the Drivers to resolve heat issue of the Notebook.

MODEL IS VAOI VGN-NR21M_S HARD DRIVE FAIL, CANT INSTALL NEW OPERATING SYSTEM ON NEW DRIVE AS WINDOWS NOT PICKING UP NEW HARD DRIVE, IN BIOS THER IS NO OPTION TO SET IT TO AUTO DETECT, HELP!!

Hi !

For some reason, some hard disk will be damage due to bad sector and you cannot do anything about it not reinstall any operating system.

If the Hard Disk Drive failed to install the operating system, the hard drive is damaged and cannot be reformat. The only solution is to replace new Hard disk drive to install the operating system.

Power on but no response at all after pc software disc install fail few times

This sounds like your system has issues other than trying to install an operating system. I would recommend looking into replacing both your RAM and your hard-drive since those are the likely culprits for both the installation failing, and your system locking up.

Laptop

A blue screen is an operating system error. this can be caused by either a corrupt operating system or a failed hard drive. What you will need to do is run a system repair with your recovery or operating system disc. If the repair doesn't take then reformat the hard drive and install a fresh operating system. If you have any issues during or after the format or install, then the hard drive has failed and will need replaced.
