I have a Vtech Model ia5824. i forgot my remote access code. how can I change the access code?

If you mean the remote access code, follow the instructions on page 39 of this manual.

Default ACCESS CODE is 111, change 3 digit access code using home station phone, select MENU, enter #306, follow prompt.

See if that works.

Without seeing your phone, I would first of all look in the users manual, if you still have it. If not, look for a menu and go exploring. You should find a section called "settings" and if you go into that menu, you should find a section about ring tones, how to change them and also how to switch them on and off.

These are fairly standard to most makes, I don't think you should have too much trouble.

To change it, press and release the MENU button on the base unit until the system announces "Set Security Code." Choose a two-digit number from 40 to 99.
