probably your fone batt is extrem low. you need to find 5volt dc source to "recharge" your batt to the minimum state so you can recharge it again using your daily charger.
Once i had the same problem like yours. I thought that my charger or my handphone were the problem. I borrow my friends batt, then i put it in my nokia, then it was working!! it means the problem is in my batt.
I went to the service center, then they said my batt is broken.
i tried to find another sources afterwards, then they said the same. I had no choice, i should buy new one. uufftt!!!
if you just replaced the battery with a brand new genuine one from a reputable dealer then we have no prob with the batt except you get a factory defect if your lucky. hehehe...
some that they call it viruses can also drain a new battery even at full charge in just minutes.
try to remove your memory card and format it in your pc or other non-nokia phones.
reformat again your phone by typing *#7370# and wait until your phone boots again.
don't insert back your mem card until you're certain they are clean and being reformatted again. cause some viruses goes to your mem card.
Get a new battery at Batteries Plus. Take the GPS in and they have to switch the connecter end from the old battery with the one on the new battery (part # PDA-192LI) and put the unit back together and everything will work fine. I just did it today. The cost was $25.19 :)

If you disconnect the battery for 20 min it should kill all memory and reset everything.If not you charge is still low charge up your batt. with a charger.and test your alt. output 13.9-13.7 you have to check the book.I'm not to sure on that.You might have a voltage regulator problem bad batt. Or somthing is hooked up wrong. Mabey the old alt was fine. Have the batt. tested. All alt. well most are rebuilts so you might have a bad one it happens.Make sure that it's putting out a charge. Loose alternator drive belt or loose or corroded battery cables. The battery itself may also be bad.
Friend, since it appears that way eventhough the batt is new. As a
mobile phone technician i diagnose base from my experience that the
problem of your phone is not the battery but the power supply I.C.
called CCONT. It is needed to be replaced or resolder especialy if it
is shorted.You need mobile technicians to solve this problem. good luck
Did you turn the phone off before removing the battery? I sure hope so. If not, you may have to junk it. My father has done that to several phones now. He pops the battery out to put the charged on in, but forgot to turn the phone off. I just recently bought him a phone that sets itself to power off when the battery cover is popped off.

I too had the same problem. My Nokia N70 switch off if I dont use the mobile for an hour. Any solution for this problem.
same ******* problem with my n70 which is only two months old... battery dries up in 3-4 hours !!!
