I finished one load of wash, put it into the dryer and then loaded the washer. When I went to start the washer the spin light and the green light before rinse came on and beeped continuously. The washer will not start. We have a GWL11 Top Load Washer.

A top-load washer tub is usually supported by four suspension rods. If one of the suspension rods becomes dislodged or breaks, the control board may stop the spin cycle several times to try to balance the clothes. Suspension rods will often come in a set of four and it is recommended to replace all four of the rods at the same time to reduce uneven wear.
I am having the same problem w/ our brand new front loader washer, it pauses constantly, and even when I can get the load to finish, I have to drain and spin atleast 3 x before I can even attempt to put in dryer, at this point it is taking me hours to do one load of laundry!!
Ugh-- Service man is coming tomorrow, so I will share what I learn...
