Have to callaibrate the sensors or you have a problem with the size of your label. The gag is in the sensor when printing starts or stops.
Use the tear option to try to correct this error or use a longer or shorter label.

SOURCE: We have a Canon Image Class MF3240

The problem is on the computer, not on the printer.

"A4" is a paper size, just like "Letter" and "Legal".

You probably have your software application, such as Excel, Word, etc., set to paper size = A4.

Do this in your program on the computer:
[File]
[Page Setup]
[Size] "8 1/2 x 11"

... and print your document again.

Paper out error

Have you tried a full media calibration from the menu (removing 8" of label from the backing)? Also if a label has left any pieces behind on the rollers, strike plate, etc it can cause this problem. I use a solvent like Goo Gone to make it clean, but be careful not to wipe the sensors with it. Also I have seen this when my users miss a roller when loading the ribbon. Make it clean, load it carefully and usually it works.

I am trying to print a label through the document feeder and keep receiving error messages on my Brother MFC9320CW AllInOne Printer .."Open the Top cover and pull out all 4 drum units completely and...

Try putting more than one sheet of labels in the paper tray. Even if you're printing one label, it helps the printer grab the paper without that error somehow. If you're already using more than one sheet, I don't know. Good luck either way!!! :)

My new hp 2035n printer give an error when i try to print. the error says: load paper to tray 1

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Inkjet printer
  • Labels
  1. 1

Prepare your printer. Make sure the power is on and the drivers are installed correctly on your computer.

  2. 2

Wait for printer to stop. Make sure your printer is idle or ready or waiting for paper to be loaded. Don't load labels when your printer is already printing or running an operation.

  3. 3

Prepare your labels. Make sure they are all facing the same way and are right side up. The label side should be face up. Many labels have an up and a down as well, look for a "this side up" or "load this way" indicator. Or take a look at the print preview before you print and make sure your labels will be fed correctly.

  4. 4

Find the correct paper tray. Some printers have manual feeds and automatic feeds. Refer to your manual to find out which one you should use for labels. If you are going to use the manual feed, follow the manual's instructions. However, most printers will use the automatic feed, so read on.

  5. 5

Align the paper guide. This is a moveable piece on the paper tray. There should be markers for the width of your paper. Standard pages are 8.5 inches. Move the marker so your labels will fit.

  6. 6

Load your labels. Place your labels in the tray so it touches the immoveable side of the paper guide. Slide the paper guide over to touch the other side if it is not already close. Do not bend the labels by pushing in too far.

  7. 7

Find the paper thickness lever. Try looking under the door that lets you change the cartridges. Or search around on the back or side. Check your manual, too.

  8. 8

Set your paper thickness level. Usually you'll use the standard size. However, your printer may need to use a thicker setting. Check your manual.

  9. 9

Change your media type. In your printer settings, find the media type option. You can access settings by clicking properties or settings on the print dialog right before you print. Select "labels."

Zebra s4m error condtion paper out

Sounds like you will need to perform the calibration procedure.
when you access the menu system go to advanced menu, the password is 9999, use the keys to navigate to manual calibration and follow the instructions. when it states load backing this is refering to backing paper, so remove the labels from the backing and place in label path. hope this helps

Error Code E014 Casio PCR-T470

Hi. When they run out of paper, you just load a new roll, and the machine will automatically continue. There is no need to clear the error. It will continue when it senses fresh paper in the receipt side.
