My puppy chewed through all the wire in the back of my Jet 3. I would say it is like and electrical harnes. Where canI get a replacement part

DP Did Medicare or an insurance purchase your chair? If so then they will pay for repair let me know Thanks

No medicare did not pap for it. I bought it at an auction about 4 years ago, when I kept getting turned town by insurance. It was like brand new when I bought it. The big harness assembly in the back was chewed in 2 places, so I would like to replace the entire assembly so that it will work better.

Dp You can contact Pride Mobility @ 1-800-800-8586 or your local provider to order a replacement harness. When calling Pride ask for tech support for a Jet 3 chair and explain to the tech what wires were chewed He should be able to get you the right part number. If they won't sell you one give the part number to your local provider and ask them to order it for you Hopes this helps BTW keep the puppy away from your chair lol

Puppy chewed wire connecting charger to outlet on EGO self propelled mower

an electrical person will be able to splice the wires together for you and cover with some black electrical tape so you will not get shocked when using it.

How do I stop my puppy from chewing up everything?

There is no easy fix here. Your puppy is just that... A puppy. For all you know he might be teething and chewing stuff is a way to ease the pain. Now, what you want to do is make sure that those "chewables" are not within his reach. Get him a couple of toys, and make sure you play some with the puppy so it understands that these are ok to chew. Schnauzers are very territorial, so once he understands that the toys are his, he'll make sure to keep them within reach. Also it'll make him forget about all of the other stuff he normally chews on.

The puppy chewed the cord of our chi. Can I find a replacement cord and repair it myself?

Depending on where your tear is, you can follow just a few steps to help you out. If your tear is a couple inches from either end (like in the middle or close to it) all you need to do is cut out the part that is torn. Once that is done, carefully cut some of the outer plastic back (so that it reveals the actual wires on the inside). Make sure you take that step slow, as to not cut all the way through, just cut through the outer layer. After that, twist the metal wires on the inside together, then cover the exposed metal wires with electrical tape (be generous with the tape so you don't shock yourself in the future. Wrap around 3 to 4+ times)
Tools: Electrical tape Scissors
Hope this helps! :] Good luck!

Our puppy chewed through the cord on our Rainbow. we paid $45 to have the cord replaced, got it home and it still will not turn on. Any ideas? Thanks!

The service tech who replaced it didn't know what he/she was doing. That's my first guess. If it was working before the puppy chewed through the cord, then if the cord was replaced, it should work. That leads me to believe the cord wasn't installed correctly. Take it back and have them redo it, then make sure it works before leaving the shop.

My puppy has chewed the washing machine wire ,can it be cut and reconnected ? x

Lucky that your Puppy did not get electrocuted!

The simple answer is 'YES' ... but since you ask the question, I would highly recommend that you ask an eletrician or other electrically savy 'technician' to reconnect/repair the wiring for you.
The colors of each wire to reconnect must be the same as the original connection.

Hope it helps.

Puppy chewed the cord and the webcam does not work. Can the cord be replaced?

You can actually splice it if you are mechanically inclined at all. Just cut it, strip the wires, match them by color and/or strips and seal with electrical tape. Much less epensive than a new camera!

My daugher has a small George Forman grill and her puppy chewed the cord to it. Is there somewhere we can have it replaced??? Thank you.

Any appliance shop can replace it for you or you could replace it yourself it is not hard to do. Or you could just repair it if he did not chew it off at the housing.

My puppy chewed the electric cord! Can i buy a replacement? Model GGR200RDDS

This should be an obvious one. If the cord is attached HARD, meaning you can't remove it, you have to buy a new unit. punish your puppy as you see fit. If the cord is removeable, meaning there is some sort of lock-in plug end to the cord to the cooking unit, OR a magnetic lock, you can most likely buy a new one. just call up the number for sales that should be printed on your owners manual somewhere. And if you tell me its not there, look harder. every company wants a sale. and you know the company name anyway. GEORGE FORMAN GRILL. Also you can splice the cable if its a chew in the middle. it takes some electrical know-how, but if a puppy chews in the middle, a pair of wire nuts and some electrical tape fixes it. talk to people in the know. CONTACT CONTACT CONTACT! :) The world is not at an end due to a fiesty puppy.
