Unable to clean 46 - Brother DCP-330C All-In-One InkJet Printer

Code 46 means that your absorbing pad is full, Brother recommends you see a technical engineer but heres a quick self help guide:

1. Open your scanner lid and scanner bed.
2. Remove the 5 screws from the front (2 large and 3 small)
3. Unclip front panel from unit.
4. Unclip and remove scanner unit from main base (be careful of wires/cables).
5. See the printer guide that runs the head unit left to right, well on the right hand side you will see a small square black looking piece of sponge (this is your absorbing pad).
6. Remove pad with tweezers and run under warm water untill water runs clear (do not squeeze pad).
7. Leave wet pad somewhere to dry naturally for about 24-36hrs.
8. Replace pad when dry and assemble printer by doing reverse procedure above.
