Hello,

Go through the setup menus on your TV, and look for Audio. Some TVs are set for a rear output by default, rather than using the speakers built in.

If menu choice is correct, check your cables (if from external device). If you are using S-Video Connector, you will need to run audio cables as well. S-Video only carries the video component. If you are trying to use optical, then you will have to go back to the audio menu, and choose the format that the external device is using. If a HDMI cable is being used, try a different cable.
