Hi,
You can use any of the following methods
All you need
is a simple Y cable, which is available from any home-electronics store.
Connect the small plug to the headphone output of your iPod--or any
portable audio player. Then connect the red and white RCA-style plugs to
the matching inputs on the back of your stereo receiver or boombox.
To connect using
the iPod dock, you first need to purchase an iPod dock accessory. Using
the same type of Y cable, connect the small plug to the matching jack on
the rear of the iPod dock. Then, plug the red and white RCA-style plugs
to the matching inputs on the back of your stereo receiver or boombox.
This method provides a line-level connection that maintains a volume
level to your stereo system and allows the iPod to recharge.
You
can also connect your iPod to your stereo wirelessly. You'll need to
purchase a compatible wireless FM transmitter--there are several
available--and connect it your iPod. Once your transmitter is connected,
simply tune any nearby radio to the correct frequency, and you'll be
listening to your own iPod-powered mini radio station.

I don't have the radio I didn't work so I want to use the amp that connects to the radio and hard wire it to a headphone jack
Does any one have the wire diagram to the amp so I know what each wire is?????
Please check for th forum below , if the same can help you. If you amp has ports to connect external composite audio cables you can use the Ipod dock to RCA cable and connect the same to amp. Or in case you want to use the Headphone jacks . Use the Ipod dock to headphone jack converter.
