My acer 4150 laptop usb ports not working with msg popping one of the usb device attached to this computer has malfunctioned after a while the computer freezes

In most cases this message is fairly true and accurate. Whatever it is that you plugged in is most likely broken. Two things you can try to test this: 1. Plug it into another USB port in your computer, if it is the same message, move to step 2. If it works, then there may be something wrong with that USB port on the computer. 2. Try the device on another computer. If you get the same message, the device is probably broken. If it works, then most likely there is something wrong with the USB ports on your computer. Am assuming it to be malfunction, please try on other USB ports or a different PC, if it does not work you need to claim warranty if its there, or give for repairs.

try to the laptop firewire port, if works. I didnt find any support for youfirelite drive

Sumtimez ports r damaged.somtimes not.. just chek other devices..if done..thn chek RAM!! lil chance tht u hv lost ur laptop!

1.well try using it on another computer..it might be defective....
2. try different usb ports
3. your systems need to be updated

One of your usb devices has more than likely has had a driver get corrupted. Try unplugging your devices one by one until you find the culprit. Once identified download and install the latest driver for that device. this should correct your problem. Good luck.

try consulting the mfg for updated drivers. Try removing the usb port it's using and letting it redetect the port, also see if there is special software that comes with the usb camera and reinstall that. If all fails reinstall windows.

There may be a bent connector on one of the USB ports or a defective USB controller on the motherboard. The bluetooth connector may not have been reconnected or the bluetooth module was not reinstalled after service. Sadly you will need to have it serviced again. They most likely will not replace it it with a new laptop, but maybe a refurbished one. You could push for a warranty extension for amount of time the system has been due to need of repair. did you try to plug it into all you usb ports? I know that I have had one that is loose in the front of my computer, try all your usb's in the back.
