The filter inside the dryer is clean - but the dryer keeps stopping and blinking check filter light is on again. Help - I've got 5 loads of laundry to do today!!!
For Sgt 48 - You are not reading the original message very well - The original help question didn't say they saw check filter at the beginning or end of a dry cycle they indicated that the dryer STOPS MID DRY and says check filter - this is not a friendly reminder, it is indicating something is wrong and the filter needs to be completely cleaned out (and past the filter down in the interior of the dryer) and if that does not work then you need to also check the dryer hose for kinks, lint build up, etc. Lastly, reset the dryer by unplugging it (or flipping the breaker) for a minute or so and hold down on the start/pause button for 8 seconds while it is unplugged (this will reset the error code for check filter, among other things).
Make sure you havwe seated the filter backin there properly all the way down check that and let me know
You did not read the manual did you? Don't worry most people don't. The check filter is just a reminder to 'check your filter' it comes on when you turn on your unit and at the end of every load. Nothing to worry about.

I pulled the filter out again and vacuumed down in the slot. Then I pulled the dryer out from the wall and sort of straightened out the vent thing (our laudry room is very small so there isn't much room for the vent thing). I also washed out the filter too. Whatever I'm done - it's working! Thanks for the tip though - it might have been that all along!
