Ipod Touch Sync Issue

Just bought a new Ipod Touch. When attempting to sync the Touch I get an error message " the disc can not be read from or written to". I have Updated I tunes, restored original settings, rest and re-started the PC and even exchanged the Touch for a new one. Same error message. My wifes Nano works fine, but the Touch does not sync. It starts the process and after about 100 songs, the error message appears

I have the same problem and I've updated all of the software, all drivers on my PC, rebuilt an Itunes library on two different home PC's and tried from scratch to synch my 16 GB iPod Touch to each PC. I've also swapped the iPod for another. I've also looked hard at the USB ports on my PC's and I've bought an off board USB 2 self powered port expander to see if that has any effect ---It doesn't.

As this is the first Apple device that I've purchased (actually for my wife) I'm pretty unimpressed - We've used Creative Lab Zen's in our family over the past 4 years and we've had no problems at all.

Can someone advise as to where to look next to fix my problem ?

    Thanks

I cannot sync movies with my iphone4 it says unknown error 13019?what does that mean?

Error 13019 during sync:
Please update to the latest version of iTunes. The latest version of iTunes can be downloaded from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/. If updating to latest version of iTunes does not resolve the issue, continue:
Please follow the same steps if the error occurs while syncing content other than music (applications, podcasts, and so on), but deselect the content that stops the sync. Deselect one type of content, then attempt to sync. Continue until you sync without error. Deselect Apps last, since restoring your Apps would take longer than restoring other content.
Error occurs while syncing music: The error will most commonly occur while syncing music. This issue can be resolved by following these steps:
Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices. Click the Music tab and under the Sync music option, choose Selected playlists. Deselect the Voice Memos playlist. Click Apply and then click Sync. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, check the device and the iTunes library for duplicate voice memos. If you find any duplicate voice memos, delete the duplicates and then sync.
If those steps do not resolve the issue, then follow these steps:
Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices. Click the Music tab and deselect the Sync Music option. Click Apply and then click Sync. After the sync is complete, reselect the Sync Music option. Click Apply and then click Sync. Test in a new user account
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, attempt to sync with iTunes while logged in as a new admin user. Follow these steps to create a new administrator user:
Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 From the Start menu, choose Control Panel. Open User Accounts. Select Create a new account and follow the instructions to complete the account setup process. Once the new account is created, choose Log Off from the Start menu. Log in to the newly created user account.
Mac OS X From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences. Choose View > Accounts. Click the "+" (you may need to authenticate to be able to click this). Give the new user account a name and short name and enter a password. Select the checkbox for "Allow user to administer this computer". This makes the user an admin user. Click Create Account. Log out and then log in to the new account. If the error does not occur in the new user account, other content is causing the error. Proceed to the next section.
If the error does occur in the new user account, the issue may be caused by content downloaded or created on the device, such as podcasts and voice memos. Removing content from the device may address the issue.

How tro fix a Error 13019 during syncing your ipod touch with itunes

Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices.

Click the Music tab and deselect the Sync Music option.

Click Apply and then click Sync.

After the sync is complete, reselect the Sync Music option.

Click Apply and then click Sync.

If the Error 13019 occurs while syncing content other than music (applications, podcasts, and so on), then perform the same steps above but uncheck the content that stops syncing with Error 13019.

Error (0xE8000065) when i plug in my ipod

Users have been complaining on the Mac Support Forums about getting error 0xE8000065 when attempting to sync their iPhone on certain Windows 7 machines. It appears that a buggy intel chipset is to blame and it seems to only manifest itself with Windows 7. The particular chipset is the Intel P55 Express.
For now, there is no permanent fix. However, Microsoft appears to be working on the issue.

White Apple iPod Video 30 GB

Your computer sees your iPod as another disc drive. When you sync check you have not got "enable for disc use" checked on the summary page. If it wont sync movies right click on it and select "convert selection for iPod", make sure you have selected the movie on the movie tab (or select "All Movies")
