I have an LG Plasma LG42PX4D-UB and when I turn on the power I get no menu, no screen, nothing but a black screen, not even booting up to a menu or anything. It usually makes a click when turned on and nothing happens. Power switch stays green and not red, as it usually does when there's a power issue. I haven't been able to find a way to reset when powering on.

change your adc(analog to digital converter) board will help out

replace the power supply it is a simple fix if you can hear the relays click 2 times or more replace the power supply board you can order them from UNION Electronics ask for kyle when you call ,,if the power supply isnt the problem then it will be the control board located below the power supply board I have repaired a few of these the voltages are marked on the power sullpy board conections be careful there is a VERY HIGH AND DANGEROUS VOLTAGE FEEDING THE X AND Z BOARDS DONT REMOVE THIS WITH SET PLUGED IN IT IS HOT ENOUGH TO BURN A HOLE IN YOUR SKIN AND EVEN DO MORE DAMAGE TO YOU if your not sure what to do Call LG they have a good support theam there

Probably not, this sounds like a claim on the h o u s e ins but i don't recomend you do it as your premium will go up. If you have insurance that covers accidental damage then you will have to pay the excess. Get a quote first.

red light is on, but when the tv is turned on, it immediately shut down and goes back to the red light setting. It is like it blows a fuse or something to that effect.Post Solution
