1. Either restore the phone's software to the original state through Nokia PC Suite.
OR
2. Update the Nokia E71 software with the latest patch from Nokia Service Center.
I have Nokia E71 Black Handset with me and whenever I dial-in and gets success then only I get the "Loudspeaker" option enabled in the right hand corner of the screen. Once you activate this option, the Loudspeaker option is visible.
1-check your input cables from connected equipments(cd player or dvd p layer or any other media source). 2-adjust your input signal level(from-10 db to 0 db). 3-amplifier power must be bigger than total power of all loudspeaker with 20%----(if total power of loudspeaker is 8 watt amplifier must be 10 watt.
To actually answer a call using loudspeaker, press the top-left button
(options) and then the middle select button (with the option
"Loudspeaker" highlighted). You can do this even when Keyguard is
activated. (I just checked.) It means pressing two keys but at least it
actually answers using the loudspeaker.
To make a call, the only
way I can see is to dial first and then press the Loudspeaker button
while the phone at the other end is ringing.
Call into your mailbox (usually by dialing intercom 165)
Press 4, and 4 again (for "Incomplete call handling") By default, three options are enabled: option #1: leave a message options #5: call the operator option #6: return to top menu
Follow the audible prompts to disable options 5 and 6
