I would disconect the front control panel you can do it by opening the back of the unit on top of the light box there is a couple plugs just unplug the one going to the front panel then try to turn it on with the remote

I would guess that its the fan for the lamp, as the color wheel will power down as soon as the power is cut. the cooling fans will continue to run

on that model it may be the flyback or the Horizontal output or Both. Comon on that chassis. Let me know if you need more assistance.

You have a bad fly back transformer. 100% thats it. The part number is 250694. its a little hard to find. If you are willing to get this part, i will assist you in obtaining it. The picture below is just a example and not the actual image.

It sounds like the flyback is actually defective. The set wont power up at all correct?
