clean out projector with canned air. if that doesn't work, the colorwheel may be dirty and needs cleaning or replacing. remove the lamp and look inside the lamp housing to see the colorwheel. if it is clear colored glass, it's fine. if it's milky, it's filthy.
There is basically two ways to reset the lamp timer :
1. ) On the Projector's physical buttons
Arrow Keys - Up , Down , Left , Right then Menu and Enter - this should be done quickly whilst the Projector is in standby mode.
2.) Switch Projector on - Hold in the Up Arrow Key on the physical buttons on the Projector untill a PIP screen appears - then just follow the on screen steps.
I have just reset my lamp! Disconnect all cables but the power, switch on it will search for a source, the lamp timer message will display press exit untill it will give you a message to press menu to reset the lamp timer, it will give you a option to press left or right to reset. I used the buttons on the projector not the remote.
