Change intercom ringtone - Vtech DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with Digital Answering System

The phone has 8 ring tones. From the idle phone, press PROGRAM and dial 99. Press the intercom or a CO line button TWICE and dial 2-8 on the keypad (1 is already default). When you're satisfied with the tone, press STORE. You have to do this for each line and the intercom you want to change and you need to do this at each phone. Pick up the handset and drop it back down to exit programming.

Press PROGRAM and the button twice (intercom or CO) then dial a number 01-30 or use the Navigator bar if you have one. The tones will change. 01 is the default, 21-30 or so are tunes.

I'm going to guess here, sort of. In the TDA's, it's PROGRAM press the button twice, and dial a number and store. So, in your TD system it should be PROGRAM 99 press the button twice, and dial a number from 1-8 (1 being the default) and STORE

You have to do this from each line and intercom you want to change.

The ringtone for the CO or outside line buttons can be programmed by pressing program then press the
CO button twice, enter the ringtone you want by dialing 01 to 08, press enter or store then program to end. This will set the ringtone for that line assuming it is programmed to ring at that phone. Transferred calls will use the ringtone of the intercom button which can be set by the same procedure. Use the same procedure if calls ring to a Group Directory Number(GDN) on the phone. The 7600 series of digital phones have ringtone settings of 01 through 30.

you should already, intrnal is double ring and external is long single ring. you can set sounds from the softkeys below display.

The left intercom button is the intercom button above the up volume control and to the left of the second intercom button.

Press Feature 00, Left Intercom, Left Intercom, #209
At the line prompt enter a line number for the pattern
At the pattern prompt enter a pattern number 1 through 8. (1 is a default)
#209 to program next line
Feature 00 to exit programming

This one is sort of easy, but I can't find it in the manual. It's somewhere, but here's the deal. Each line or the intercom can have 30 different rings. It's programmed by PROG press the button twice, and dial a 2-digt number from 01-30 or use the navigator up/down button to change it, and ENTER to save it.

If you happen to have 72/74xx phones on a TDA, you only have 8 tones.
