SOURCE: Cisco VPN Client won't connect

You'll want to enable the VPN transparency. In the router's administrative web interface, click the Security Tab, then the VPN Passthrough sub-tab. Cisco VPN's usually use IPSEC, so enable the IPSEC Pass-through and click "Save Settings". If this doesn't work enable the PPTP Pass-through as well and give that a shot.

SOURCE: Cisco VPN not working

please call dlink tech support at 877-453-5465. just an advise on how to handle the call when you reach dlink tech support (agent); do not agree to call back after you troubleshoot with them (they'll be giving you a case id reference# and be advising you to check your pc or call "who" and call them back to continue the troubleshooting). insist to the agent that he need to resolve the problem asap (by the way, agents are not allowed to drop the call or they'll be dead-history!). and if the agent still insisted you to call back, ask for a "senior level technician" to finish the job (escalate the problem).
fyi: dlink tech support handling time to resolve a call is 15 to 18 minutes only. if you reach that 15-18 minutes (max) time the agent will think of a way for you to call back (advising you to check with your pc manufacturer, check with your ISP, call microsoft to update your software, etc... non-sense!) they need to do this in order to reach their handling time (agents need to reach 21 to 25 billable calls, and billable calls are "solution provided", "resolved", and "dropped call"). ---- believe me, i was one of them and repented.

Power off Cable Modem, PC, router, and then disconnected them. Directly connected Cable Modem with PC (Don't connect the router) and power on Cable Modem. How do I connect cable modem to cisco 3560 switch and configure it?

The cable modem will need to go through a router because it needs a NAT and PAT translation table, connecting the cable modem direct would lose the ability to get to the internet.

Using WRTS4GS2 Cisco Router and could not access the internet. Remobed router and had instant access to the internet.

Contact your ISP. Some ISPs limit the number of computers that can simultaneously connect to your cable-modem. If you change computers, you have to tell your ISP.

Or, power-off your cable-modem, to "reset" it.
Connect the Cisco Router to the cable-modem.
Power-on your cable-modem.
Power-on your router.
Connect your computer to your router, and see if you get Internet access.
