KitchenAid KUDS01DJ - Multiple Color Dishwasher Logo
Posted on Sep 04, 2010

I have a Kitchen aid model KUDS01DJBL0 There seems to be a two fold problem: 1) cannot set reset cycel even tho the panel lock is off. When you close the door the light for normal goes on but you cannot select another cycle even after opening the door. 2) Once you start the diswasher it steams, heats but the water does not seem to be flowing. I've checked for obstructins with the float inside the machine, there are none. The water arms are all free. I'm perplexed. I'm not sure if it would be the water valve assembly or the control sensor panel. HOw do I differentiate?

You have to touch certain of the front panel touchbuttons in a certain pre-specified order. This sequence will cause the built in computer to initiate a "Diagnostic Mode", the repairman will step quickly through all the cycles at 1-2 minute intervals so that he doesn't waist his time. At the end of the diagnostic steps the computer will revert back to normal mode. You will need the "controls and cycles diagnostic sheet for repairman" map-sheet to be able to do the above, this sheet was with the machine when you first bought it.
I suspect the computer in your machine is stuck in the "Diagnostic mode" and is not getting out of it.

hmmm....that interlock is dependent on a temperature sensor, to ensure that no one opens that door when it's too hot inside. I'm assuming that it's still locked, even after the temperature has dropped off?

My Kitchen Aid dishwasher, model KUDK03FTSS3, is stuck in a loop of some sort. It starts, but freezes after a few minutes. Does anyone know the reset key sequence to make this go away? Kitchen Aid customer...

Hi. Pressing and holding the cancel button may reset the unit at this time,as well as, pulling the ac plug out of the wall outlet for five minutes. With that said, I will provide the proper reset sequence below. 1. Open the door of the unit slightly. 2. Within three seconds, press the following sequence in this order-high temp scrub, energy saver dry, high temp scrub, energy saver dry. 3. After the sequence, close the unit door and latch it. 4. After the door is closed, press the cancel button. This will reset the main control, unless there is major damage to the circuitry of the control board.

I have a Kitchen Aid Model KGRS807SSS00. Dead!

Sounds like your range's computer control is bad. It will be a repair man's job to replace it unless he can find a reset problem. Sorry it is not a repair you can do yourself.

I have a Kitchen Aid range model KGST307GBS0. The

The door light switch was broken (upper right face of oven). The door switch is automatically activated when the door is opened to turn on the oven light. When the door is closed the switch is depressed to turn off the light. It seems the switch position is detected by the oven and if it is in the open position it will not allow the oven to function properly (reach temperature or allow the cleaning cycle to run). I temporarily locked the broken switch in the closed position, which allows the oven to function. A new switch was ordered for replacement.
