Water leaking into bottom of refr - Whirlpool 21.8 cu. ft. Side-By-Side Refrigerator with EZ-Change Ice and Water Filter

Normally, drain tube runs along the back outside wall of a top mounted refrigerator. Follow that tube all the way to the drain pan and see if it is line up with the drain pan. If it is, look for a crack in the drain tube.

If there is ice on the refr floor you want to check the drain for blockage and that the silicone sealing the drain trough isn't torn or leaking.

its most likely a frozen water tank. try and clean the coils by the compressor and then make sure the temps for refr are set around 38. it might need to be warmed up inside the refr section. you can tell if its too cold by the vege's if lettuce, carrots and celery are crispy, then you might need to clean the coils.

more then likly its low on refrigerant, and the evap is icing up and when it defrosts a little it drips small amounts of water, fix is to add refr. but its a sealed unit so it not really worth the hastle. it would be cheaper to buy a new one unfortunatly

The drain is clogged in the freezer. Take off the back wall inside of the freezer, there is a drain in the bottom, use a turkey baster and hot water to clear all of the ice, pour hot water into the drain, put a piece of weed trimmer line down the hole and try and push the obstruction through, do not use a coat hanger or wire, you will puncture the drain tube and make bigger problems. Finish by pouring more hot water in and making sure it all goes down.

It may be possible that the model number you listed is a little incorrect after the KSRK24____ or KSRK25ILSS03 But I was able to find the model and filter numbers on my site. Click Link Below and enter the model number into the model search feature. It will take you to a page with many similar models with same water filter. you have a possible water valve that is not shutting off all the way on the water dispensing side, it has 2 coils, one for ice and one for water. the other possibility is the dispenser tank is frozen, from being too cold in the refr. section and thats causing water pressure to continue running even when not pushing the lever. let the unit warm up slighty on the refr side and see if you can get water to flow properly.
if not working after warming up, then you might have to replace the water inlet valve.

the indicator light could be on the control panel inside the refr section if your controls are there, or it is most likely on the front of the dispenser panel. it only comes on when you draw water from the dispenser and thats when you will see it be green, filter ok, yellow, filter at 80% life, or red, time to replace the water filter.
also you dont need to shut off the water when changing the filter as it is made with a shut off device in the filter housing already and is automatic.
by the way filters are expensive, go online and check prices. google "water filters" and find a good price.
