There are two types of connections can be done with PC to TV, according to TVs inputs. If TV has a VGA input socket, a VGA to VGA cable is necessary. If the TV has only HDMI input socket, a VGA to HDMI cable is needed.

Your tv is a 2008 model, legacy 3d tv and requires a lot more than a current 3d HDTV does to view 3d. Today with a current 3d HDTV, Normally you only need a 3d source like a 3d Bluray movie and 3d glasses from Samsung and a HDMI cable connection from bluray player to HDTV. See below for your TV. You need a PC and IR emitter and Samsung 3d glasses plus user selected options on the tv.

If you have only been using one cable it may need to be replaced or the HDMI port on the television may be broken. Check the port and make sure it is clean and if it still dose not work speak with a local tv repair shop

Hello, this usually means that a cable or something is not plugged in properly.
Maybe you just put in the audio cable and no cable which can transmit video?
If it's a HDMI cable make sure it's plugged in properly and that you're on the right channel.

Use you HDMI Input, depending the source your using has HDMI output resolution is 1080p or 1080i

the problem is the tv is not getting a signal start. all devices in #digital give a signal to say what they are and the right format to display, some devices don't send the signal if its not the right setting, if you are trying to send an analog signal to a digital socket it will not work . and vice versa.

The HDMI input along with others is located on the a/v control panel of which would have to be replaced. I haven't seen an input jack yet with a part number attached for any model. I would suggest call a service center for a diagnosis.

Have you try to replace your HDMI cable?I recommend you to pick up a good Monster HD700 HDMI cable from a local retail store like best buy or circuit city.In case it isn't the cable problem,you could return it.
However,when you are a using the HDMI cable,it is normally either have both picture and sound or nothing at all.Are you sure you didn't hook up the audio OUTPUT from your TV back to a receiver input?
Or even an optical output from the TV to the receiver?
